GemStorm Privacy Policy

GemStorm is a mobile game made by CP Time Game, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the GemStorm app collects and how it is used. The short version: GemStorm has no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and we never collect your name, email, contacts, photos or location.
1. Information stored on your device
Your game progress (levels, stars, coins, power-ups, settings and on-device play statistics) is saved only on your device. We do not receive it. Deleting the app deletes this data.
2. Anonymous gameplay analytics
To make the game better and to balance its difficulty, GemStorm sends anonymous gameplay events to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. These events include things like a level being started, won, lost or quit, the time it took, power-ups used, store screens viewed and purchases made, along with basic technical details (app version, device model, iOS version, screen size, time zone, language/region and display/accessibility settings such as dark mode or text size).
Events are tied to a random identifier created for your install of the app. It is hashed before it leaves your device and hashed again by TelemetryDeck. It cannot be used to identify you, is not linked to your Apple ID or any other app or website, and is not used for advertising. We do not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across apps or websites. You can read more about TelemetryDeck at telemetrydeck.com.
3. In-app purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. We only receive confirmation of which item was bought so the game can deliver it. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Notifications
If you allow notifications, GemStorm schedules reminders (for example, when your energy is full or a daily reward is ready) directly on your device. These are local notifications; no information is sent to us to deliver them. You can turn them off anytime in your iPhone's Settings.
5. No ads, no selling of data
GemStorm does not show third-party ads, and we do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone.
6. Children
GemStorm is suitable for all ages. Because the app has no accounts and only collects anonymous gameplay analytics, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your choices and rights
Because we do not collect information that identifies you, there is generally no personal data for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question or request, email us and we will help. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (such as the GDPR or CCPA), and you can contact us to exercise them.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how GemStorm handles information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
