CP Time is a party game filled with questions rooted in Black pop culture, with multiple categories and hours of fun.
But the fun doesn’t stop at the cards — the game now comes with the official CP Time Game Companion App, designed to take your experience to the next level.
Every second counts in CP Time — and with the app, you’ll see and hear the unpredictable countdown like never before. The timer can go off at any moment between 3 to 10 seconds, so quick thinking is a must! The app adds a dramatic countdown, randomized timing, and a buzzer to raise the stakes and keep players on edge. Plus, it includes digital scorekeeping, Solo and Team Play modes, and even supports screen mirroring to your TV for group play.

- Determine the number of rounds to be played or set a target score for teams to reach.
- Split players into two teams: Team 1 and Team 2.
- Shuffle the trivia cards and place them in the center. Each team receives 5 hint cards.
- Designate a host, who will be the question asker, or take turns having a different person from each team as the host for each round.
- The host draws a card and reads it aloud to Team 1, starting with the title of the movie. For "finish the line" questions, players don't need to recite verbatim but should aim to be close. Each team can answer as a group or have one player answer per round.
- If a team answers correctly, they keep the card, which is worth 2 points. If they answer incorrectly, the card goes to the bottom of the deck.
- If a Team is stumped they can ask to use one of their 5 hint cards. Using a hint card is -1 point of total score. Regardless if the question is answered correct or not.
- After both teams have had a chance to answer a question, the round ends.
